Alotorists, especially, will appreciate the improvement which is now being effected to the combined road and railway bridge at Ngawapurua. Additional decking is being laid in a. position which brings it on a level with the railway line, and which will, when completed. obviate the jolting and rattling which at present take place when vehicles are taken across the structure.
