MARKET REPORT.

Tho Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report a larger yarding of pigs at their weekly sale held on Thursday, good wcancrs selling from 10s to 12s each and porkers up to 465. Poultry again were in very heavy supply, all the [ions being filled to capacity, and to a large bench of buyers a total clearance was made at prices a little in excess of last woek’6 realisations. They quote as follows:

Pigs. —Best woaners, 10s to 12s; small to medium woanere, from 7s to 9s; slips, from 15s to 18s; stores, from 19s to 225; and porkers up to 465. Poultry.—Heavy 8.0. hens, from 7s to 8s per pair; medium, from 6s to 6s 6d per pair; best W.L. hens, from 4s 6d to 5s 6d per pair; light hens, from 3s 6d to 4s 4d per pair; heavy cockerels, from 8s to 9s per pair; medium cockerels, from 5s 6d to 7s 6d per pair; young ducks, from 5s to 6s per pair; old ducks, from 3s to 4s 6d per pair; forward pullets, from 7s to 8s 6d each; medium pullets, from 5s 3d to 6s 6d each; and small to backward pullets from 3s to 4s 6d each; turkey hens, from 6s 6d to 7s 6d each; gobblers, from 8s to 15s each.
