Forecast.—Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds easing later and turning north-easterly or northerly. Cloudy at first on the East Coast, but becoming fair to fine generally. Cool, but rising temperatures; seas, rather rough in the straits, but decreasing; otherwise, slight to moderate. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —lft. 6in.
