PERSONAL.

From the local Methodist Sunday School, Miss M. Martin, of Pnpatawa, was the recipient yesterday afternoon of a hymnal, the presentation being made bv one of the scholars, M argaret Ratehelar. who suitably expressed good wishes for the recipient’s future life. Miss Martin has been a teacher • for a considerable period. Her marriage takes place shortly. Air and Mrs G. Lane have recently been on holiday. Mr and Mrs H. Galbraith spent the past week in Wellington. Mr T. Jefferies, of Stratford, has been on relieving duty here for a local firm.
