PIGS, POULTRY AND PRODUCE. Tho Dominion Auctioneering Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving a large entry, of pigs at their salo hold on Thursday, and with a large attendance of buyers a total clearance was made. Porkers were in exceptionally good demand, best heavy,sorts realising 45s 6d, 50s to 555, with light porkers from 36s to 40s. Wcaners and stores , were on a par with last week’s rates. A small increase in tho price of poultry was noticeable, with a decided improvement in pullets. Quotations;. Pigs.—Heavy porkers, 45s 6d, 50s to 555; light, porkers, 36s 6d, 38s to 40s; stores, 25s to 32s 6d; slips, from 15s to 17s; best weaners, from 12s 6d to 15s; medium weaners, 10s to lie; small to backward weaners, 5s to Bs.

Poultry.—Best White Leghorn hens, from to 4s 6d per pair; best Black Orpington hens, from 6s to 6s 6d per pair; light hens, from 2s 6d to 4s per pair; heavy cockerels, from &s 6d to 8s per pair; light cockerels, from 2s to 5s per pair; pullets, from 5s to 6s 9d each; ducks, from 4s to 7s per pair.
