MISHAPS' IN WAIRARAPA. Per Press Association. CARTERTON. Dec. 23. As 'the result of being flung from a motor-cycle at Tauherenikau yesterday, Charles Victor Bolstad, of Carterton, received a fractured skull and other injuries. He was admitted to the Greytown Hospital, his condition being serious. After a collision between cars on the Mangaroa Hill, last night,, Alec McKenzie, of Carterton, was admitted to a private hospital here, suffering from severe cuts to the head and face. His condition is not serious.

A transport lorry of the Railway Department left the road and crashed through a fence in South Wairarapa last night through, it is alleged, the driver falling asleep. He was admitted to the Masterton Hospital, suffering from cuts' and bruises. His condition is not serious. A Wairarapa South County truck, driven by L. J. Williams, was involved in a collision with a car driven by a native named Hadfield, of Gladstone, bn the Gladstone bridge this morning. Neither of the drivers was hurt, but Hadfield’s'wife, who was a passenger, received slight cuts.
