Mr R. Cherry, a well-known Otago representative cricketer, also a former soccer representative, died yesterday at the _ age of 37 following a minor operation from which complications ensued. Only last Saturday he made top score for the Kaikorai Club. In business Mr Cherry was well-known in the Central Otago and Southland districts 88 s traveller. —Press Association.
