PLAYER INJURED.
Sustaining a painful blow on bis bead from a cricket ball while batting for High School against Old Boys in the senior B grade, Askew collapsed at the wickets soon after he had reached bis half-century, and had to be aided from the field. After a rest lie returned to the crease and advanced bis total to 85. He was still in when High School's innings was declared closed.
