Vice-Admiral Shiozawa, Japanese Naval Commander in South China, in a statement, said he had been invited to Hong Kong for a frank discussion on ways to improve Anglo-Japanese naval relations. DESTRUCTION OF CHANGSHA. ( Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. The following cablegram has been received by the Chinese Consulate-Gen-eral from Chungking: — . “Our forces came into collision with the enemy near Yunkiawan, about ten kilometres south of Yochow. In carrying out our strategy we set fire to, and completely destroyed, Changsha, so that even if it falls into the enemy’s hands it will be of no benefit to them. In the south of Shantung we recaptured Taierchwang and Yihsien.”
