When the judging of the Calf Club ornpetition by the Manawatu-Oroua division o. the Children’s Agricultural Clubs was held at the local school on Wednesday (the results having already appeared in the “standard”) many parents and friends were present. Afternoon tea was served by the committee men’s wives and a nappy time was spent by the children The judges gave some interesting and helpful advice for the future competitions. The now school bus was on exhibition, being driven by Mr I . Lauridsen.
