NOTES.
It is reported that Air Colin McColl, of Feilding, who suffered a fractured spine while working at Tokorangi oil August 20, is showing a definite improvement in condition. The Feilding Fire Brigade was called out shortly before 8 o’clock last evening to the” Feilding Club, where it was found that a defective chimney in the billiard saloon had caught fire. Building permits issued for August were five, totalling £3,109, which included three dwellings. The Oroua. Bowling Club held a euchre party on Tuesday evening. The winner of the men’s prize was Mr Buckman and the ladies’ prize was won by Miss M. Pearson.
