£IOOO FOR HUTTON.
MR WHITELAW REPEATS GIFT.
LONDON, Aug. 27.
The English captain, \Y. R. Hammond, has been advised by Mr A. Whitelaw that ho has made a gift of £IOOO to L. Hutton for his record score in the final Test. Mr Whitelaw made a similar gift to D. G. Bradman in 1930.
