v GISBORNE, Aug. 27 Measles have affected the strength of some of the visiting hockey teams Wairarapa arrived with only twelve plavers.

Ihe captain and vice-captain of the Feilding team have been sent to hospital with whooping cough and measles, and one Wellington player has contracted measles.
