CZECH DEFENCE FACTOR.
“The air force of Czechoslovakia—and it is a powerful force—is one of ■the air defences of London,” said Sir Alfred Zinunern, a distinguished English authority on international affairs, in Wellington yesterday. Stating his belief that Great Britain would not willingly break her alliance with Czechoslovakia, Sir Alfred said it would be much easier for Germany to launch an air attack against London from her Baltic frontier than it would be for England to send an air fleet against Berlin, but while the alliance with Czechoslovakia persisted Germany must realise that any move against Great Britain would invite a raid on her capital from the much closer Czechoslovakia.
