NEW CZECH CONCESSIONS.
“FRIENDLY, BUT FRUITLESS.” PRAGUE, Aug. 20. The Sudeten Deutsch organ (Zeit characterises the' decision of Dr Hodza (Premier of Czechoslovakia) to appoint Spdeten Germans to several important posts as “friendly but fruitless if it is supposed to satisfy the Sudeten demands.” A further complication in the dispute is provided by the Slovak autonomists’ intensifying their pressure since the death of their leader, Father Hlinka. They have tabled an Autonomy Bill, demanding their own Parliament, army, and liberty of language.
