GOLF.
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ DAY. A meeting of the Returned soldiers’ golf committee was held last evening, when it was decided that the tournament be held this year on the Awatapu links on October 16. Various sub-committees were set up to deal with the different departments, and the preliminary arrangements are now being made in connection with the tournament.
