Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 27. Walter Joseph Thompson, aged 40. a publican, of Kirwee, was convicted in the Magistrate’s Court to-day on a charge of intoxication in charge of a motor-car on the main West Coast road. He pleaded not guilty. Thompson was convicted and fined £3O, -in default thirty, days’ imprisonment with hard labour, and his license was cancelled and endorsed for eighteen months.
