The committee, of investigation set up by the Government last year to report on the future-of Rongotai aerodrome, Wellington, was on November 9 appointed to advise the Government on the suitability of Wellington harbour for a flying-boat base. The committee’s report on Rongotai lias been in the hands of the • Government for some time. In reply to an inquiry, the Minister of Defence (Hon. F. Jones) said that he had not yet received i(s further report on Wellington harbour.
