;- A QUIET TURNOVER. WELLINGTON SHARE MARKET

- - Apart from a further improvement in Australian metals shares due to the strength of the London market, there was little change on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday. Bank shares were- a shade firmer, but the only recorded business was Australasias at £9 14s. Further sales of Government stocks, mostly 3J per'cents., were made at steady rates. Sellers of Goldsbrough Mor.ts moved up to 295. There was little demand for New Zealand industrial issues. ..Broken Hill Proprietary improved t obusiness at 59s 6d, Electrolytic Zinc ordinaries t0.37s 9d, and the preference to. 43s 3d. Mount Lyell made a further recovery, selling to 25s 6d.
