LITTLE THEATRE.
FROCKS OF FEMININE CAST. Being an Edgar AVallace “thriller,” the Little Theatre Society’s production “The Case of the Frightened Lady,” which opens to-morrow night, in aid of the Alan Loveday fund, does not afford an opportunity- for spectacular dressing on the part of the two feminine members of the cast, Mrs V. E. Harman and Aliss Alolly Oakley. Aliss Oakley, as Aisla Crane, at her first entrance, wears a handknitted suit of periwinkle blue wool, the jumper top being belted at the waist. Next she appears dressed for dinner in a full black velvet skirt and a green satin basqued blouse, with a Chinese design of gold lacquer. In the final scenes she wears a pink satin neglige over a pale pink satin nightgown, her; hair .being arranged in two long plaits. Mrs Harman, as Lady Lebanon, appears in the ooening scenes in a black ribbed silk afternoon frock with full fluted sleeves of georgette. Later she changes to a black georgette evening gown cut on dignified lines, with which is worn a black velvet coatee. Pearl and diamond jewellery relieve tlio otherwise soriibre toilette.
