THE FINAL SESSIONS.
PREAIIER’S EXPECTATIONS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 27. “Unless something unforeseen happens, the last session- of the present Parliament will commence on AVednesday, June 29,” Air Savage said today. The caucus had considered the legislation to come forward and had approved it after a few alterations. Air Savage was not prepared to say what the legislative programme would be, but he expected the session to last about three months. It was usual for members to survey the work of Parliament during the last session, and he had no desire to curtail the discussion on the Address-in-Reply or finance.
