Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, April 21. Tho New Zealand draughts championship tournament was concluded tonight. G. A. Brown is the holder of the championship cup for 1938, R. Weir being onl.V ''half a point behind in second position. Third place was gained by J. A. Lucas. The Otago Provincial Cup was won by Weir, and Davis won the Canterbury Cup. Final points were as follow : G. A. Brown (Christchurch), 28; R. Weir (Dunedin), 27*; J. A. Lucas (Dunedin), 26*; C. Souness (Dunedin), 23; J. Mclntosh (Invercargill), 20*; W.
