ACCLIMATISATION WORK.
FEILDING SUB-COMMITTEE. The annual meeting of the Feilding sub-committee of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society was held last evening, Mr P. P. Stevens presiding. There was only a moderate attendance. The election of officers resulted as follows : Chairman, Mr Stevens; delegate to Wellington council, Air E. AV. Barnett; lion, secretary, Air C. Wickham. The retiring committee was re-elected with Messrs Jaggard and Dnrrent replacing Alessrs Lawrence and Waugh, who expressed their desire to retire. Dr. Ansin and Alessrs Seed and •Tones (Wellington council representatives) were present and spoke at length regarding the aims and activities of the society.
