ACCIDENT NEAR SANSON.

CAR ALMOST WRECKED. A serious head-on collision between two motor-cars occurred on the San-son-Foxton highway about three miles from the former township, about 10 o’clock last night. A car driven by Mr Bradnott, of Sanson, who was accompanied by his wife and daughter, was returning from Wellington, where Mr Bradnott had been to see his father, who is seriously ill. When approaching Sanson, Mr Bradnott’s car and a touring vehicle owned by a sideshow company, on its way south from Ngaruawahia, met head-on with the result that the latter vehicle somersaulted several times and became almost a total wreck. Its occupants had a remarkable escape from injury- , . , Mr Bradnott’s daughter received facial injuries, while his car was damaged.
