WEEK-END MATCH.. A representative team from the Wellington Associated Catholic Clubs visited Palmerston North at the week-end, accompanied by about twenty supporters, to meet a representative team from the Manawntu, Feilding, Levin, and Wanganui districts. Before a large gallery of spectators a number of closely contested games were enjoyed, the country team winning by 15 sets and 169 games to 9 sets and 141 games. A dinner was held at mid-day on Sunday, when Mr B. AV. Creed (manager of the focal team) welcomed the members of the Wellington team and visiting officials, and referred to tlie goodwill and co-operation that had always existed between Wellington and the country districts.
