Bryson, of Grey Street, Woodville, will learn with regret that slie has entered the Dannevirke Hospital to undergo an operation.

Mrs W' AI. Tapp, of Foatlierston Street, Palmerston North, who has returned from Napier, where she took part in the Hawke’s Bay croquet tournament, has as her guests Mr and Airs J. Alurray, of Wairoa.

The friends of Air and Airs A. H. Goodman, of Awahuri, will regret to learn that their eldest daughter, Dorothy, is seriously ill in a private hospital in Palmerston North. To-morrow the Johnson quadruplets, who live in Dunedin, will celebrate their third birthday. By this time they will be installed with their parents in their new home at Wakari.
