MR HARGEST’S TOUR.

NATIONAL PARTY POLICY. Per Press Association. TAURANGA, Feb. 26. Mr J. Hargest, M.P. for Awarua, spoke here last night during the course of his electioneering tour. There was a very large attendance. The speaker remarked on the great enthusiasm that had been manifested wherever he had travelled, and also on the good men selected to contest the various electorates. In connection with this he specially mentioned' Mr W. Sullivan, who was to contest the Bay of Plenty seat. He outlined the National Party’s policy, and at the conclusion of his address received ■ a hearty vote of thanks. A vote of confidence in the National Party and its leader was also passed.
