SHIPPING HOLD-UPS.

CONCERN IN GISBORNE. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Feb. 28. A protest against the repeated shipping 'hold-ups was voiced at to-day s meeting of the Gisborne Harbour Board, which decided to appeal to the Prime Minister to take appropriate action to deal with the problem. It was stated that in the past six months several delays had occurred at Gisborne, and as a result the trade of the port liad been dislocated and legitimate coastal freignts had been driven into the hands of road operators.
