TENNIS PARTY.

KOWHAI LADIES’ CRICKET CLUB. Miss Lois McKenzie was hostess at an enjoyable tennis party at’the home of Mr and Mrs R. A. McKenzie, of Milson’.s Line on Saturday afternoon, when members of the Kowhai Ladies’ Cricket Club were entertained. A Yankee tournament was held, the winning couple being Misses H. Hills and J. Clouf;. Afternoon tea was, served, and the opportunity was taken by Miss J. Christian (club captain) to thank Mr and Mrs McKenzie and Miss McKenzie for their hospitality. The club’s travelling fund will benefit considerably as a result of the function.
