PRESERVATION OF LAND.
AGAINST BUILDING. (British Official Wireless.) 1 RUGBY, Feb. 24. Approximately 12,000 acres of downland and water meadows in Sussex,between Eastbourne and Salford, are to be preserved against building development for all time. This results from Ministerial approval of a planning scheme by the local councils covering the area, some 19,000 acres.
