FORESTERS’ LODGE.

The 62nd anniversary of the founding of Court Loyal, No. 5768, .Foresters’ Lodge, in Feilding, was celebrated last evening in the Parish Hall, when a social and dance was held. There was a very large attendance, including visitors from Woodville, Marton, Halcombo, Pahiatua, Palmerston North, Wanganui, Ashhurst, and Dunedin lodges. Other kindred friendly societies in Feilding were also well represented. Music for the function was provided by a professional orchestra, assisted by an accordion band from Palmerston North. Da;icing and cards constituted the programme and the usual novelty dance numbers were held. The ladies’ social committee attended to the supper arrangements.
