PRICES FIRM ON NAPIER. COMPETITION MORE SPREAD. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Feb. 25. Frees generally at the second Wanganui woo! sale were fully firm on realisations at Napier earlier in the week, but showed a marked decline when compared with the January 'sale. A catalogue of more than 20,000 bales was offered to a full bench of buyers, and over 80 per cent, of the catalogue was disposed of under the hammer.. Competition was more spread than at the first sale. Continental buyers were the principal operators, but Bradford operated freely on some lines, and France was the chief buyers of lambs’ wool.
