LONDON ANTIQUES.
LONDON. Feb. 6. Roman and medieval antiquities excavated in the City of London are to be sent to Sydney to commemorate the 150th anniversary bv the London Library Committee, which controls the Guildhall Museum, states the Daily Telegraph. The antiquities will illustrate the life of Londoners from the earliest times.
Constant excavations for new buildings are producing continual discoveries, including Homan writing tablets, lamps, jars, 13th century ox-bone skates, and leather sandals, medieval pointed shoes, and Elizabethan clay pipes.
