(from Our Own Corcrspondcnt.) TANGIMOANA, Fob. 24. At the Tangimoana Surf Club’s business meeting on Tuesday evening, the secretary reported having received advice from the Manawatu County Council, in response to an appeal for assistance in the erection of the building required that it was prepared to advance £5 conditionally on the balance being arranged. It was 1 resolved that life membership tickets be arranged for. It was agreed to return the Wanganui Club’s visit at an early date. Tbe secretary was instructed to obtain particulars of accident insurance covering members in their rescue activities. Tiie Tokorangi School, with parents and friends to the number of about 70, had a most enjoyable picnic oil Wednesday. The whole arrangement was in the capable management of the headmaster, Mr T. Amadio, and his first assistant, Miss Oleland.
