NEW ZEALAND LEAD.

INTERNATIONAL TEAMS. Per Press Association. TRENTHAM, Feb. 24. Firing is taking pla-ce at Trentham to-day in the international teams match between Great Britain, South Africa and New Zealand. The conditions of the match were ten men aside, each mail filing ten rounds at 300, 600, 800 and 900 yards. The sky was overcast, and there was a tricky fish-tail breeze from the rear.

Shooting at 300 and 600 yards was completed before the adjournment. New Zealand led at the end of the first range with an aggregate score of 471, South Africa being next with 462. The British team scored 456.

South Africa gained a point at the 600yds range, and at the conclusion of the firing at that distance New Zealand chad an aggregate score of 928 for the two ranges; South Africa was eight points behind with 920 and Great Britain had 909.
