AIR TERMINAL.
AUCKLAND’S STRONG CLAIMS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. Geographically and climatically Auckland was an ideal terminus for the overseas air services, and its claims would not fail to impress the experts when making a decision, stated Mr AA r . R. Fee in liis presidential address to tlie Auckland Chamber of Commerce at the annual meeting to-day. Auckland’s nearness to New Zealand tourist resorts, its importance as a port and the necessity of maintaining a direct connection between the Pan-American and Imperial Airways services for tile convenience of passengers to Australia or America must weigh heavily. The time would come when other centres would also be terminals, added the speaker.
