TENNIS TOURNEY

COURTS FLOODED.

NO PLAY YESTERDAY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 4. Consistent rain to-day prevented the continuation of the New. Zealand tennis championships, the Stanley Street courts being flooded. It will be impossible to conclude the tourney this week, as was intended, and some of the finals will not be played until Tuesday. On Monday the American team, Budge and Mako and the two women players, Misses Dorothy Bundy and Dorothy Workman, who arrive in the morning from Sydney, are to play exhibition matches at the courts, and there will be no championship play then. .
