SHIPS COLLIDE.

ACCIDENT ON THAMES. (British Official Wireless.) Received December 16. 10.10 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 15. In a dense fog, the Cuuard-White Star liner Andania (14,000 tons) collided with thg oil tanker British Statesman (7000 tons) at Purfleet last night. No one was hurt, and only slight damage above the waterline was caused. The Andania. has previously discharged lier passengers at Tilbury. Purfleet is a village <*i > Essex on the north bank of the Thames, 15 miles by rail from London.
