UPROAR IN COURT.
AN EMOTIONAL FASCIST. PARIS, Nov. 30. There was uproar, leading to a suspension of the Court, at the resumed hearing of the libel action brought by Colonel de la Rocque, the Fascist leader of the French Social Party, against the Due Pozzo di Borgo, formerly a loader in the Fascist Croix de Feu. The Due di Borgo delivered a long harangue, and accused Colonel de la Rocque of inciting people to violence. Declaring that de la Rocque, and not the Cagoulards, first spoke of coup d’eta.t6, he ended by calling de la Rocque “a wretched crook” and then hurst into tears. The Court received a letter from M. Tardieu, alleging that the Deputy M. YWnegaray, who is actively defending Colonel de la Rocque, himself received 30,000 francs as election expenses. '. Another witness, resentful at Colonel de la Rocque’s attempt to convert the Croix de Feu to Fascism, complained about Colonel de la Rocque s “economv of courage” in not showing himself during the February riots. Defending counsel: That is a lie. He was once seen hiding behind a lamp pest.
