RETURN OF DEBENTURES.
JUDGMENT AGAINST COMPANY. ■ Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. .14. Judgment against the Australasian Investment Corporation, Ltd., was returned by Mr Justice .Northcroft in the Supreme Court this morning in favour of three plaintiffs who asked for the return of Investment Executive Trust Co. debentures, which they had contracted to exchange for shares in the defendant company. The grounds of the action were that they were induced to enter into a contract by alleged untrue statements made by Osmond Arthur Bridgewater, sharebroker, agent for the company. His Honour ordered the return to Adrienne Stokes Cook of debentures of a nominal value of £l2lO, together with £598 as dividends paid by the Public Trustee, to Sarah Elizabeth Collins of debentures of a nominal value of £IO9O and dividends amounting to £504, and to Alexander George Robinson debentures of a nominal value of £ll3O and dividends amounting to £593.
