MADAME LUPESCU AGAIN.
RUMANIA’S ELECTION ISSUE. BUCHAREST, Dec. 4. Much will be heard of Madame Lupescu, the red-haired favourite of King Carol, in the Rumanian election this month. The National Peasant Party has formed a “united front” election agreement with the Fatherland Front. Each party is opposed to Madame Lupescu. The Fatherland Front, formerly the Iron Guard, is Fascist. Political circles are astonished at this link-up. The Peasant Party is democratic, and pro-French.
