SEARCH FOR AIRWOMAN.
NEW YORK, Dec. 13. A message from Sacramento. California, states that an Amelia Earliart Putnam Foundation has been incorporated by five friends of the airwoman, for the purpose or searching for her and endowing university scholarships in her memory. Mr E. H. Dimity, the foundation manager, conferred with her widower, Mr G. P. Putnam, at Los Angeles, concerning a plan for a schooner expedition from Oakland, aided by seaplane and power-boats.
