FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral of the late Mr John Sugden, of Feilciing, took place yesterday afternoon at the Feilding cemetery. A service was held at St. John’s Anglican Church, when Ven. Archdeacon F. H. Petrie conducted the service. The Feilding Agricultural High School was represented by Mr C. B. McClure (acting-headmaster) and Mr I>. H. Thurston (president of the school council). The pall-bearers were representative of Feilding cricket interests, comprising Messrs E. M. Hare, J. Dewe. J. Telford, E. Dermer, N. Bramwell and N. Fitzpatrick. A wealth of floral tributes bore testimony to the popularity of deceased, who was one of the first pupils of the Feilding Agricultural High School and the first president of the school council.
