NAVAL BASES BOMBED,

BARCELONA, Dec. 8. In retaliation for the Catalonian raids, 24 Republican bombers to-day successfully rnided the naval air bases at Palma and Majorca. According to an official statement, three rebel ’planes and one Republican were shot down in an air battle. It is claimed that the bombers inflicted heavy damage on the Majorca bases, where the Italians predominate.
