SPANISH TREASURES

The Court of Appeal has repealed the order for the seizure of a thousand cases of art treasures held by the Basque and Asturian Banks, and shipped from Gijon to Le Havre by order of the Spanish Government before the entry of the insurgents into Gijon. The Court ruled that it was within the power of the sovereign Government of Spain to safeguard the treasures entrusted to it. The cases will bo returned to the Spanish Government.
