BENEFICIAL RAIN.
FALL IN WAIKATO. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Doc. 8. Following a fortnight of hot weather, during which maximum temperatures over 80 degrees have been common, the second heaviest fall of rain in the Waikato this year was experienced yesterday and to-day, bringing considerable relief to pastures throughout the district.
