TE ARAKURA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TE ARAKURA, Dec. 4. At the bi-monthly committee meeting of the Te Arakura Woen’s Institute members were reminded of the Christmas parcel for the Porirua Hospital. The December meeting is to take the form of a social afternoon. The competition will bo for the best slab of coconut ice, these afterwards are to be included in tho Christmas parcel. The flower competition will be for the beat antirrhinum, rose, or swoetpea. The many friends of Mrs E. H. Ilaythorno will regret to learn, that Bho is at present in a private hospital. Miss T. Lewer, who has been residing in Petono for somo time, has now returned to the district.
