(From Our Own Correspondent.) . BULLS, Dec. 6. Clifton Hall was cl'Owdcd with an appreciative audience on Friday evening, on the occasion of the concert and prize-giv-ing in connection With the Presbyterian Sunday School. A splendid programmo was given entirely by the scholars, whoso perfottnanee reflected credit on the hrdies who had trained 'therfv Mrs Mackay and Miss Wilson (school Superintendent). Two outstanding items wero an impersonation of. tho “Three' Wiso' Men,” given by Keith Bailey, Raynor, Vile; and Peter Peterson, atid an action song, “I’ll do it all for. Jesus,” by tho girls. At the conclusion of tlio concert, Rev. Mr Mackay and Miss Wilson presented tho prizes and Miss Wilson thanked parents, frionds, and teachers for their hearty co-ordination. Messrs J. H. Ellory, L. Capstick, and W. A. Wheeler have boon selected to represent tho Bulls R.S.A. at the centenary celebrations in Sydney next year. At Friday night’s mooting of footballers Mr N. James, tho Wanganui and Rangitikoi representative forward, announced definitely that ho was retiring from Rugby. It was also stated that Mr C. Culpan, who recently . went to South Africa, had been succomful in securing a remunerative post there. Mr A. Neale is spending a few d&vs in Taranaki. . _ , Bulls and Feilding Tennis Clubs met at Bulls ori Saturday; the- visitors winning nayrowly by 9 sets to 7, although Bulls actually'had a lead on games.
