ASSOCIATION’S DISCUSSION. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Dec. 3. "Automobile associations should support the Minister of Transport in his endeavours to make the roads safer,” said Mr B. Falck (Canterbury), at the quarterly meeting of the South Island Motor Union to-day. Mr A. E. Ansell (Otago), said that the Minister had made a fair appeal to associations and he should be given assistance. Something in the na-

ture of a friendly letter could be sent to offending members. A motion that the matter be referred to the executive of the union, and that it confer with the North Island Union, was' carried.
