One impression with which Mr Arthur Barnett has returned to Duneum after an extensive visit to ( Great Britain is that the golf facilities of Dunedill are not worthy of the city or of tho game (says the Otago Daily Times). In England and Australia he found the clubhouse was a most important institution. Generally, they were very attractive buildings, and they were used freely for the entertainment of vistors. Dunedin golfers might be well advised to follow the example of Australian clubs and bring their clubhouses up to the same standard.
